According to Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in a sudden address to the nation tonight, India plans to start vaccination of children between the ages of 15 and 18 on January 3rd next year.

 PM Modi has assured the public that all possible preparations have been made to combat the increasing number of infectious diseases. He listed the number of  beds, the oxygen beds available, and the progress of vaccination.

 ” Covid is not over yet. It is extremely important to be careful,” he said.

 According to the National Institutes of Health, the country has 18 easy isolation beds, 5 easy oxygen assist beds, 1.4 easy intensive care beds, and 90,000 special beds for children. There are 3,001 PSA oxygen systems that are currently functioning.

He also said that more than 61 percent of India’s adult population was fully vaccinated against Covid 19, while about 90 percent of the adult population  received a single dose of vaccination. He added that he had decided to announce on December 25th on the birthday and Christmas occasions of former Indian Prime Minister  Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

1. India will begin vaccination with Covid19 for people between the ages of 15 and 18 from January 3, 2022.
