1,100 kg of suspected dog meat seized at Chennai Egmore railway station - The Financial Express

The cases of Beef smuggling have been increased and they are being reported daily. The portions of beef are mostly seized in Maharashtra’s Thane region, it can be a spot or beef supply or a connection point to the supply but still, the police are not able to decode that.

A huge number of cows have been killed just because of Beef and still, no hard actions have been taken by the government. Animal cruelty deserves very hard actions but this kind of transportations and smuggling has been going on continuously.

There are many cases registered after beef was seized and apart from beef, thousands of kgs of suspected dog meats are also being seized but looks like people do not have any terror to transport it. You can not know where those meats will be mixed may be in India itself it can be mixed with chicken or any non-vegetarian food.

The government needs to impose harder rules for this, and the police can look better, if they can receive the tip about the transportation of beef, they can even find out the supply points and the suppliers.
