Different Types of AI

1. Narrow AI – This kind of artificial intelligence is sometimes referred to as ‘Weak AI’. It works within a limited context and is a clone of human intelligence. Narrow AI is generally focused on performing a single task extremely well and effectively, and while these machines may seem intelligent, they operate under far more limitations than even the most basic human intelligence. Some of the narrow AI uses are organizing personal and business calendars, responding to simple customer-service queries, google search, and more. 

2. General AI – Artificial General Intelligence(AGI) is sometimes referred to as ‘strong AI’. It is different and opposite of how Narrow AI works. It is the type of adaptable intellect found in humans, the extensible form of intelligence capable of learning, carrying out vastly different tasks, anything from haircutting to building spreadsheets. 

Other Artificial Intelligence is Machine Learning and Neural Networks.

Artificial Intelligence has been a complex concept of studying the network neurons. It is not appalling how AI has vastly progressed in the last few years and brought humans the sense of comfort living and made them rely on technology more and made them explore the idea of how AI will be a sustainable technology and its limitless advancement. 

Employment Opportunities- Artificial Intelligence has brought so much recruitment not only in the IT sector but also in other diverse fields. It has made it easy for people around the globe to find jobs and employment from the comfort of their homes. Mobile Applications built with the AI. Several mobile apps help people find the kind of jobs they want. It makes you have options you can choose from. The employment apps are Naukri, monster jobs, LinkedIn, Indeed, JobAware, etc.

Healthcare Sector- AI has benefited healthcare the most especially in the current period of COVID-19. Keeping the old and new data of the patients in the digital form that will never be misplaced is the biggest relief to humans. Because of COVID-19, the Indian Government introduced the mobile application called ‘Aarogya Setu’ that helped people of India to protect themselves by knowing the number of cases around them via using the application, and during the vaccination process, people were able to book their slots rather than getting in line physically which would have violated the ‘Social Distancing Rule.’

E-commerce apps- Most of the e-commerce websites that people use for the purchasing of the products use machine learning AI to build their applications to provide customers with better services such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and more.

Risks of Artificial Intelligence 

As much as AI benefits the human lives, it also has a risk features which might harm the productivity of life.

• Fairness and bias concerns.
• Job Automation.
• Errors in digital security, physical security, political security.
• Data sourcing and violation of personal privacy.
• Unclear legal responsibility.

If the risks of AI are reduced and proper implementation of this technology is applied then Artificial Intelligence will become the talk of minute in every household in coming future. The risks of data privacy and physical harm are the most reported negative aspects of AI that has been notified in the last few years. 

For the generation of safe AI, the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk said:

“I am not normally an advocate of regulation and oversight — I think one should generally err on the side of minimizing those things — but this is a case where you have a very serious danger to the public.”

“It needs to be a public body that has insight and then oversight to confirm that everyone is developing AI safely. This is extremely important.”

 

How will Artificial Intelligence grow in the future?

The coming generations will have a great time exploring the limitless areas of AI and will be able to build the variation in terms of technology by using Artificial Intelligence. Their inventions will be sophisticated and maybe what the current generation has never thought. I think the coming generation will build the Artificial Intelligence that will be able to conduct the tasks that humans do, and it will be exciting to watch how that’ll turn out to be.

AI technology’s success and invention in variations will most likely outperforms the routine work of human lives and it will have both negative and positive impact on the world. According to the reports of World Economic Forum, Artificial Intelligence will create the 59 million jobs by 2023. In every sector of our daily lives AI will make it presence known. 

The Healthcare sector, Retail sector, Banking sector, and Transportation sector will see a dramatic change with the application of AI. The job opportunities will arise fiercely. In accordance with the IHS Markit’s AI in Banking report, the global business value of Artificial Intelligence in Banking will reach $300 million by 2030.
