KBR National Park is home to more than six hundred species of plants & trees, and not only this they have 140 species of avian fauna, 20 species of reptiles, 20 species of mammals. It is spread over the huge area out of which around 11 acres of land belonged to Nizams. In the national park, you will get some other things like more bungalows, gol bungalows, stables and all.

Chowmahalla Palace

Chowmahalla Palace is the place of Nizams and was used as their residence place. It is one of the most beautiful places in Hyderabad that you will experience, it shows the authentic tastes of the rulers or Nizams of Hyderabad. The palace is spread over the land of 40 acres and the interior is just mind-blowing, made very delicately.

The Palace was built by Nizam Salabat Jung and now it remains the property of Mukarram Jah & Barkat Ali Khan, who are the heirs of Nizams, but the place is open for tourists. The Palace has also given a spot for many Nizam weddings. It has also won the National Tourism Award for its maintenance.

The Chowmahalla Palace was inspired by the likes of Shah Iran Palace from Tehran. The area also has a north courtyard and south courtyard, along with that it comprises some important houses also.

The palace is open from 10 am till 5 pm but it remains closed on Friday. The entry cost is Rs 10 for children and Rs 50 for adults. The palace is located in the Khilwat, Hyderabad.

Paigah Family were the loyal persons of the Nizams who served as generals, statesperson, philanthropists, etc. All the tombs are famous because of the delicate architectural work done on the mosaic tiles & the craftmanship work. All these tombs are more than 200 years old & are a resting place for several generations of Paigah.

The Paigah’s were considered as the most powerful & influential families during the 18th century. The place is nearby Charminar and is located in a quiet place. The Paigah Tomb is open from 10 am till 5 pm for the tourists and there are no entry fees.

Qutb Shahi Tombs

Qutb Shahi Tombs is located near Golconda Fort in the Ibrahim Garden. The place contains many mosques & tombs that were built by different kings from the Qutub Shahi Dynasty.

The place was recognized as a World Heritage Site in the year 2014. The tombs have a blend of Indian & Persian styles with carved stonework and are surrounded by gardens.
Earlier the tombs were furnished with chandeliers, velvet carpets, silver poles, and Quran was kept on the pedestals. During the Qutb Shahi reign, the tombs were maintained with all the facilities, but after the decline of their dynasty, they were neglected later in the 19th century, it was restored after the orders of Sir Salar Jung III.

If you are an architecture lover, you will love the place and the place is open from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm for the tourists.
