Kapil Sharma

Kapil Sharma hails from a typical lower-middle-class family from Amritsar, Punjab, and was born on April 2, 1981. His life seemed stable and there was nothing much to worry about until 1997 when Kapil’s father was diagnosed with final-stage cancer. His father worked as a head police constable. That time shook their family of 5, they were devasted hearing this, but also Kapil decided not to bend down over these challenges and he will fight. As it is said if it’s dark you should hold the light.

Kapil Sharma at this point had completed his basic education and when he went to college, he started doing theatre, but he had to stop as he did not have the money to pay the fees. While he was not able to pay the fees at college, his talent and hard work helped him as the teachers recognized him, and later that led to the place where teachers from several colleges wanted him as their representative in the youth festivals. At the same time, Kapil’s father’s condition worsened, forcing him to teach theatre in college to earn some money, but in 2004 his father passed away. The time when many will think that it is the stop was the start to Kapil’s journey and he started working towards his journey.

Swami Vivekanand said, “Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life, think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success.”
