OTT platforms are like an Ocean for movies and series lovers. Now, as the world is advancing so much in terms of technology and keeping in mind the world’s current situation due to COVID-19, it’s not easy for people to go to cinema halls without the worry of safety of themselves.

Now that it’s Christmas time, it always nostalgia people to do a movie marathon; holiday time is what people need to relax and have fun, and what better than watching Christmas movies to bring in that fluffy feeling of joy and happiness.

A Boy Called Christmas

A Boy Called Christmas is a British Christmas movie released on November 26 2021, in The United Kingdom, China, Germany, France and other European countries. It’s been streaming on Netflix since November 24 2021. It’s a story of an adventure of an ordinary boy named Nikolas in the snowy north with a reindeer called Blitzen and a loyal pet mouse known as Miika to find his father who is in search of the fabled village of elves, Elfhelm.


Last Christmas

It is a story of a young woman named Katarina ‘Kate’ Andrich, she is the attraction for bad decisions, and nothing goes right for her, an aspiring singer who works as an elf at one of the Christmas shops where he meets the charming Tom Webster who turns his life around for good. Emilia Clarke stars as Katarina Kate Andrich, and Henry Golding plays the character of Tom Webster. This romantic comedy will make you have fun and shed tears, and take you on a journey of picturesque London.


Let It, Snow

Adapted as the movie from the young adult novel of the same name by authors John Greene, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle, Let It Snow shows the story of a town struck by a snowstorm where a group of high school students finds them in the magical world of the holiday, romance and friendships and find themselves the happiness they longed for.


Love Hard

Love Hard, released on Netflix on November 5, 2021, tell the story of an L.A. dating column writer, Natalie Bauer, who matches with a man named Josh Lin on a dating app and get to talking and calling; she decides to surprise him by flying to his hometown to surprise him for Christmas but realizes she got catfished by him. Watch her journey of heartbreak and finding Love. Nina Dobrev plays the character of Natalie Bauer, Jimmy O. Yang stars as Josh Lin and Never Have I Ever’s Darren Barnet plays the character of Tag, Josh Lin’s former friend.


The Holiday

This rom-com released in 2006, directed and written by Nancy Meyers, shows the two women who are going through the downfall in their life and desperate need of a much-needed change swap houses for the Christmas holidays and finds the clouds of darkness and sadness disappear from their lives and the breeze of change in their lives. It stars Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jack Black and Jude Law.


The Princess Switch

This Christmas movie tells the story of two women who look like each other in appearance. One is a baker from Chicago, and the other is a Duchess of Montenaro who decides to interchange their lives for two days and their tumultuous love lives. Its sequels, The Princess Switch: Switched Again, was released on Netflix on November 19, 2020, and The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star was released on November 18 2021.


Another Christmas classics that can be enjoyed with the whole fam are Love Actually, Home Alone, Elf, and the Die Hard series are must-watch during the Christmas holidays.
