World Relives The Nostalgia Of Dum Maro Dum With iPhone 13 

The whole world was waiting for the launch of the latest iPhone. It launched with a huge surprise for everyone, especially Indians. Apple announced the launch of the iPhone series 13 last night in California.

Not only iPhone 13, but they also launched the Apple watch series 7, iPad, iPad mini, and the variants of iPhone 13 that are iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

During the launch event, Apple released an advertisement for the iPhone series 13, and the shocking thing that happened was Apple used the track of a Bollywood song, “Dum Maro Dum,” which most Indians were able to recall that song. 

The background song of the advertisement is taken from a very famous Bollywood song, ‘Dum Maro Dum,’ which R.D Burman and Asha Bhosle originally produced. It highlighted the features of the newly launched iPhone series 13 and also introduced the “Work All Day” feature.

People recognized the song and rolled over social media and expressed their reactions. Also the actor Zeenat Aman reacted to the use of her song ‘Dum Maro Dum’ on the launch. This popular song is from the movie Hare Rama Hare Krishna starring Dev Anand and Zeenat Aman and was sung by the very famous Asha Bhosle and was composed by Mr. RD Burman

Zeenat added that even in this era, the song from 1971 still has its impact even after 40 years and said it was worth learning that 1971 music. She stated that she did not have any idea that this song would be a hit.

The company played the song Dum Maro Dum for introducing the latest phone features and was also played when Mr. Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, came to the headquarters with the lined-up products. The video went viral on the social media platform. People loved it as no one ever expected that a company like Apple would use the Bollywood Retro songs for its advertisement.

The song “Dum Maro Dum” was a super hit, and besides Dev Anand and Zeenat Aman, Mumtaz was also featured in the song. Zeenat also won a Filmfare award for the Best Supporting Actress Award, and Dev Anand acted and directed the movie.
