Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Minister of Minority Affairs, announced the beginning of the online application process for Haj 2022. According to Naqvi, Haj 2022 will be a 100% digital Haj. They do not accept handwritten or typed copies of applications. After the registration process begins, a guide is provided to make the online Hajj application.
Hajj 2022 Online Application Process
Applicants using the Hajj Committee of India’s www.hajcommittee.gov.in app, which we can download from the Google Playstore, must provide these documents.
- Aadhaar Card: Aadhaar Cards are recommended in the Hajj Application Form by the Hajj Committee of India. Applicants do not need to provide an Aadhaar number for Hajj applications.
- Passport: The applicant’s passport must contain a specific date if they wish to apply for Hajj. All pilgrims are strongly advised to obtain a valid Indian passport before the application deadline.
- Mobile Number: Hajj pilgrims should ensure that their mobile numbers are included in the Hajj Application to be contacted whenever necessary.
- Bank Account: To apply for Haj, one must use the account of the Cover Head. Those who wish to get their refunds directly credited to their bank accounts are advised to open bank accounts or update them.
A Step-By-Step Guide
Step 1: Haj application registrations are now open. Click registration.
Step 2: Apply for Haj by filling out the form.
Step 3: Documents and photos can be uploaded.
Step 4: You must pay the fees.
The Steps In Detail
Step 1: Click the “HAJ FORM” option and select the “Apply” link at hajcommittee.gov.in. On the new screen, select “NEW USER REGISTRATION.” Fill out the form carefully after selecting “NEW USER REGISTRATION.” Please include your First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, and Email Address. Re-confirm your password after choosing a strong one. You will need the security code. Click the check box and click “Submit Details.” If you believe that the information is accurate, click the check box.
Step 2: It is necessary to verify account information. The user is notified after successfully entering the OTP. Your account is accessible as soon as you are logged in.
Step 3: It has been successfully activated. We can fill the Hajj Application Form for 2022 online using your Mobile Number and Password. Sign in with your registered username and fill out the online application.
Step 4: Login. You will see a screen shortly after signing in. Select the category that matches your needs. You may change the number of adults by selecting “NEXT” from the dropdown.
Step 5: Categories of applications. When all of your details have been entered, click ‘SAVE & NEXT.’
Step 6: Information about the application.
- Add a photo and document.
- Pick Pilgrims from the dropdown menu.
- Click “Browse” for uploading photos and documents.
- Please submit all documents in JPG/JPEG format.
- A passport-size photograph (1000×1000 pixels) should have a file size of 10kb to 100kb and a width of 100px to 148px.
- Documents should be 100kb to 500kb and 570px to 795px wide.
Step 7: Documents can be uploaded. Once you have downloaded all pictures, click the “Upload” button. Co-pilgrims must repeat the above steps.
Step 8: Pay your fee.
- Applicants will be able to access the payment link after uploading the images.
- Debit/Credit/NetBanking can pay the application fee.
- You will be redirected to a payment gateway after clicking on Pay Online.
- The transaction receipt will be generated after the transaction has been completed. Would you please re-log into HAF Online after payment is successful? Getting an alert message, click on “FINAL SUBMISSION.” Then click Ok.
Step 9: The submission is complete—download Hajj Application Form. When the online offer is successful, a unique ID generated by the system will be displayed. For Printing/Viewing the Hajj Application Form, select “Download.” Hajj Committee of India officials says that printing HAFs and documents is not necessary if documents are uploaded. You must upload these documents to their system by 31-01-2022 if you haven’t already done so.
Hajj Application Attachments
Provide pilgrims intending to travel with these documents as attachments.
- A nonreturnable processing fee of Rs.300/- each must be paid (online only).
- Online Hajj Application form must be filled out and submitted.
- Upload the first & last page of a valid Indian passport.
- Upload an image the size of a passport.
- Would you mind uploading the cancelled cover head cheque?
- If your present address is the same as your passport address, you only need to upload a copy of your passport. We must submit the duly filled and attested copy of the Hajj Application Form with a copy of any of the following items.
-Pass Book from a bank
-An Aadhaar Card
-Photo ID issued by the Election Commission
-The utility bill for the last three months is as follows:
-Landline phone bill.
-A bill on electricity.
What Is A Cover Number?
Hajj Committee of India obtained the cover number after verifying pilgrims’ data entry and documents with the IHPMS software. Cover Heads of states and UTs are notified of the Cover number. To reference this Cover Number in all correspondence, the Applicants must use it. To be eligible for Qurrah (lottery), Pilgrims must obtain a Cover Number from their state or territorial Hajj committees.
When submitting a Cover, we should include only members of the applicant’s family or close relatives. We should only have applicants on the Cover if they are adult males, and the Cover Head will be responsible for their payments. All applicants who apply under a single cover must have the same accommodation category. A group of pilgrims travelling together must be approved in advance. It is not acceptable to split a body except in the case of the non-availability of the required unit.
What Is The Qurrah (Lottery)?
This electronic lot is called Qurrah. Qurrahs conducted on the covers shall be used to select pilgrims based on those arriving more than their quotas in States and Union Territories. Hajj Committees across the country use the IHPMS software on the Hajj Committee of India server to complete the Qurrah. Upon completion of Qurrah, pilgrims’ selection status will be decided by the State/UT Hajj Committees. They will also send SMS to all the selected pilgrims on their registered mobile phone numbers.
