That’s why Moosewala believes he hired gang members through his manager  Kaushal Chaudhary. According to police, the 30-year-old police is the leader of a global crime syndicate with more than 700 snipers ready to carry out assassination and blackmail threats at his command. Jatin Anand and Arnabjit Sur follow an educated boy travelling from the sleepy Punjab village of Dutaranwali to the largest security room in the Tihar prison in Delhi.

According to police, the 30-year-old woman commanded the killing of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu (known as Sidhu Moosewala) behind the prison of Tihar’s largest security prison in Delhi in May 29, this year.

The sleepy village has been unpopular due to the exploitation of Bishnoi, police say it is the mastermind of global criminal syndication with partners operating from countries such as Canada and Thailand. According to police, more than 700 snipers are working under Bishnoi, threatening to assassinate and blackmail in his bid.

Bishnoi, once virtually unknown outside his village, made a national headline. His bearded face can be seen on the television screen above him allegedly involved in the Moosewalla murder. According to Bishnoy’s criminal record, more than 25 proceedings have been filed in police stations in Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan over the last 13 years.

However, the inhabitants of Dutaranwari still remember him as a “well-bred boy” from a wealthy family in Zamindar. Bishnoi’s parents, Ravinder and Sunita, are known for their good behaviour and wealth, says Salinger Bagria, a village salpunch home to more than 2,000 members of the Bishnoi community.

The mild-mannered Robinder is a “very nice person,” but Snita spends most of her time indoors, he says. “The best is always desired by parents for their children, but what can they do as poor parents? ” Says Baglia. Bishnoi was born on February 12, 1992, and spent his childhood in the village.

Upon leaving Assumption Convent School, his parents enrolled him in Assumption Convent School in Abohar, where he studied until his tenth-grade year. “He never picked a fight with anyone whenever he visited his home,” says Rohtash Kumar, a 70yearold resident of Dutaranwali.

Bishnoi`s family-owned “inestimable” parcels of land spread across two to three villages in the Abohar municipality area, Mr Kumar says, adding that the young boy himself had over a hundred acres of land to his name.

Everything turned out fine up until the time he stayed here in the village. However, after leaving, he headed in the wrong direction.”

Bishnoi`s parents wanted him to dream beyond the confines of his rural background and sent him to DAV School, Chandigarh, for Classes XI and XII. The boy stayed in a hostel and became interested in athletics while there.

He especially took a liking to the 1,500metre race. For training, Bishnoi began visiting the Panjab University ground after classes. The grounds were often used for special events on the weekends, so he became a regular visitor.

In 2007, police say, Bishnoi took admitted to the university to study law. He soon became friends with San Patnella, the son of a Chandigarh police officer and a student at the University of Karsa who frequently visited the site for track training.  According to Delhi police sources, Bishnoi was interested in sports and bodybuilding and had contact with several students, such as Nera, whose parents were police officers.

Those students later became part of his gang and other criminal networks throughout Metro Manila (NCR), sources say. “He thinks the friendship is as thick as blood,” said a senior police officer.

 Early advance into crime

In 2008, Bishnoy’s friend Robin Bra ran for the University of the Punjab Student Organization (SOPU) election. According to police, Bishnoi fired at him with a revolver authorized in the name of a friend to intimidate a hostile candidate.

Attempts to assassinate Bishnoi and his friends have begun and they have been put in jail. They were released on bail two months later, which marked the beginning of Bishnoy’s criminal record.

The police say Bishnoi met Ranjit Dupla, an alleged arms smuggler from Punjab, during his time in jail. According to the police, Bishnoi and his gang members enlisted Dupla to help them obtain sophisticated weapons. Dupla is believed to be in the United States.

The election was lost for Robin Brar due to the arrest of Bishnoi. In retaliation for his defeat, Bishnoi looked for cover for a few months after he was released on bail and shot at the winning candidate’s brother, according to his criminal history.

Another attempt to murder case was filed against Bishnoi and he spent six days in jail in Chandigarh. Here he met another accomplice, a local criminal, Davinder Babra, police say.

“After the first problem in prison, Bishnoi began making friends behind the bar. He is said to have dealt with other gangsters and signed criminal contracts with large syndicates. Has also begun operations in the new precincts in search of the blessing of prominent criminals, “said an official who crossed Bishnoi.

Bishnoi’s life continued to be caught up in a vicious circle of battles on campus, resulting in him being put in jail from the 7th to the 10th and then compromised with his rival gangsters. In 2010 he ran for the presidential post in college elections but was defeated.

Sidhu Moose Wala

Angry at the election humiliation, Bishnoi and his friends attacked the winning candidate with an iron rod and broke his leg. According to police, Bishnoi procured two domestically made pistols for the murder offer, but he did not use them. In less than two weeks, Bishnoi and his friends went to the police.

They were released on bail after three weeks of detention. He then focused on strengthening his political influence before the next election.

This meant that more campus battles between universities had to fight in diversity. In 2011, Bishnoi again ran for president. This time he won. High goal

The taste of victory made Bishnoi more ambitious. According to police sources, he wanted to expand his reach to include university campuses throughout the state. Bishnoi is now involved in more violent attacks and even armed conflicts.

As a result,  he spent four to five months behind the bar later in the year before being released on bail.  In 2012, Bishnoi graduated from college. “Now his gang was so powerful that there were enemies everywhere. To protect themselves, the gang began buying almost illegal guns from Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. “The sources say.

Bishnoi left the college campus, but he dominated his politics and ran his gang members as candidates for elections. He fled for the first time in 2013 after shooting a candidate who beat a friend in a government college election in Mukzal, police said. Currently, Bishnoi was not dedicated to influencing the outcome of college elections. At the request of his friend Karanville on the day of the election, police said Bishnoi shot and killed a candidate who opposed Karanville’s cousin in a poll by the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation.

After that, Bishnoi dived into the basement of Jaipur with the help of his childhood friend. Here he became interested in the trade of spirits. He invested money and provided weapons to Rabinder, the owner of a Haryana wine shop.

Rabinder was introduced to Bishnoi by his cousin, according to his criminal record. A few months later,  police say four gangsters killed Bishnoy’s cousin Amandeep. Over the next two years, Bishnoi sought out the people involved in the murder, sources say.

His hit list included people who supplied weapons for the killings and contained assassins. The statement stated that Bishnoi was arrested while he was killing one of the accused when he was intercepted and arrested in Gurgaon.

Another person involved in the murder was shot dead on a court campus in Dabhawali, Rajasthan, “said a source. According to police, Bishnoi experienced his first armed clash with police in the summer of 2014.

On his way to the Salazar Baraj Temple in Churu, Bishnoi, Rajasthan and his gang collided with a barricade at a checkpoint and fired at police officers. They were later intercepted and put in jail. For the next three years,  police said they had spent time attempting to kill rivals, fleeing police detention and hatching the executions of witnesses who chose to testify to him in court.

Expanding criminal empire

With more than 700 snipers working, the Elite Delhi police unit is investigating more than 12 high-profile incidents against Bishnoi, according to Specialcell sources. They are instructed to commit a crime by a network of their peers operating inside and outside the prison.

Sources say Bishnoi`s gang has “cells” across States that are seeking to enter the thriving liquor trade in the NCR.  In 2016,  police began seeking the blessings of “bigger gangsters” working in and around Delhi to build a foothold in the capital. He expanded his reach across the northern States by conniving with the local mafia and bootleggers, the source says.

The following year, police said he was arrested throughout the state and taken to a prison in Rajasthan on suspicion of his role in the execution of murder orders and extortion rackets.

In 2018, Bishnoy’s close companion, Sanpatnera, told Hyderabad’s Haryana police that at Bishnoy’s request, he attempted to eliminate actor Salman Khan in connection with the killing of Blackbuck owned by the Bishnoi community. I was arrested.

The following year,  police say, at Bishnoy’s order, his accomplice shot dead real estate agent Rajibia, also known as Sonu Shah, at his office in Chandigarh. Ten bullets were sent into Shah’s body.

The steady rise in Bishnoy’s criminal world has left a mark on his family. His younger brother, Ammor, 23, dropped out of college in Mount Abu, Rajasthan and joined Bishnoy’s criminal network. According to police, he was tasked with expanding the presence of gangsters in Rajasthan.

According to police, Hajit Simpenta, a member of the Devinder Bambiha gang who was involved in the lawn war with the Bishnoi gang in Punjab, was shot in April this year. Penta attacked the assassin Manprit while in prison in Faridcott Prison in 2017.

According to sources, Palbat Singh, a fellow Manpreet who provided him with weapons and motorcycles for the attack, told Punjab police that Bishnoy had ordered Ammor to eliminate the Penta.

According to police, Ammor was hiding after firing outside the homes of doctors and businessmen who refused to pay a rupee 100 million protection to the Bishnoi gang.

Returning to Dutaranwali, villagers say Bishnoi’s mother, Sunita, ran for the 2018 Panchayat election. However, she withdrew after protests against the news that Bishnoi had ordered Salman Khan to be executed.

“Until about three or four years ago, I hadn’t heard of Lawrence or his brother Ammol, but everyone has always known and respected the family here. Her parents are now. I’m slipping into the cocoon. His father sometimes comes out and talks to others, but his mother doesn’t, “says Gagandeep Singh, who owns Daba in the village. “At first, Bishnoi was like another aggressive youth.

No one knew he could cause a gang war across Punjab and recreate the uneasy atmosphere of the 1980s and 1990s. It was, “he says. Shin added that Bishnoy owns enough land for two generations of his family to live in. “I didn’t have to do what he was doing.”

 Prison bar

According to sources, Bishnoi carried a blackmail racket from his cell over the prison for several years, despite tight security.

According to police, Bishnoi is behind the bar, but he is still in contact with members of his gang and is active on social media. His interrogation by  Chandigarh police in the Sonusher murder played an important role in providing mobile phones used by employees of Rajasthan’s Bharatpur Central Prison to communicate with members of his gang.

It was revealed that. Several Facebook pages linked to Bishnoi regularly posting his selfies taken in prison, suggesting that he has constant access to his cell phone.  In 2021, Bishnoi was transferred to  Tihar Prison Complex in Delhi in connection with a case registered against him under the Maharashtra Organized Crime Control  Act.

Senior police officers in the special forces say that Bishnoy’s name was often mentioned when tracking voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) calls originating from prison grounds. Most of his hit jobs and blackmail threats are carried out by employees working in countries such as Canada and Thailand.

” One of the most common methods imprisoned gangsters use to connect with and order their accomplices is this method. It’s difficult to track VoIP calls. Bishnoi as well as domestic networks. Is currently focused on expanding its international reach, “said the executive. According to police, Bishnoy’s name also appears during the cross-examination of criminals from his rival gangsters.

A special cell of the Delhi police arrested three snipers from the Jitendra Gogi gang in April this year for shooting and killing Tihar’s deputy prison chief last year. One of the defendants reportedly told police that Bishnoi was able to obtain and supply weapons and ammunition to commit the crime.

Members of the Bishnoi gang are currently primarily involved in the supply of illegal firearms to local gangs, interstate smuggling, and land seizure, according to sources.

In the hottest case, police said, Bishnoi had an alliance with his closest aides, Karalana and Karaja Teddy, both of whom were detained in Tihar Prison in connection with multiple counts of murder and trespassing. It has been. According to police sources, one of the more than 40 defendants, also known as Sandeep, had a bounty of Rs 60,000 in his head. He was arrested in 2012 but escaped from Haryana police detention in 2020.  Jathedar was arrested again on July 30, last year, along with Anuradha Chaudhary, also known as Revolver Rani. Police say they are the “scene officers” of the Bishnoi gang. They acted in collusion with Bishnoi and his Canadian-based companion Goldie Blur.

“Several Bishnoy’s gang members and friends fled abroad with fictitious passports, just as Bra did. They coordinate with Bishnoy and plan from there. They also communicate with him. It also acts as a financial channel, “says Source.

According to police, there are more than 100 snipers in Karalana. He left for Thailand in 2019 and was handed over and arrested on March 1 of that year. Police say he acted as a gangster’s “financial and investment adviser” and was in constant contact with Bishnoi. Bishnoi planned to kill Punjab singer Sidu Muswara three months ago, according to police sources with information about cross-examination by the special cell. Bishnoi is said to have commanded the murder from his cell: Prison number 8. Sources said they used VoIP to contact employees.

According to police sources, Bishnoi ordered the killing of Moosewara after the singer provided a sanctuary to members of the Devinder Bambiha gang who executed Bishnoy’s girlfriend and local student leader Vicky Midukera last August. “In the Moosewara murder, Bishnoi sought Jatedi’s help to call Bra in Canada,” police officers say. Bra later claimed responsibility for the murder in a Facebook post. Bishnoi is currently detained in a special cell of the Delhi police until June 5 in connection with a gun control case filed against Jitendra Gogigang for supplying weapons. Asked by an interrogator about his plans for the future, Bishnoi said, “To leave the world of crime  and live in peace.”
