The INS Kursura was the 4th submarine of India and was an essential part of the Indian Navy. The submarine provided the service for 31 years in the Indian Navy, and it was decommissioned in the year 2001. You have the opportunity to experience one of the weapons used during the Ind0-Pakistan War in the year 1971 as this submarine was used in the war for the attack.

Not only this, as this submarine was decommissioned, but it still receives the honor of Navy’s Dressing Ship that is awarded to the active ships only. Indira Gandhi Zoological Park

The zoo comprises an area of 625 acres, and it is named after the former Prime Minister of India. The zoo is surrounded by the Eastern Ghats on the three sides, and the other 4th side is surrounded by the Bay of Bengal. Around 800 animals of different species are found in the zoo, and the park is divided into different sections like natural ambience for the birds, reptiles, mammals, carnivores, and others.

The entry fees cost Rs 20 for adults and Rs 10 for the kids, whereas the park is open from 9 am till 5 pm.

Matsyadarshini Aquarium
