As a result of the attack, Kumar sustained multiple injuries.
The incident took place around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, when Kumar, who resides in Sector 92, stopped at a liquor shop in Sector 89 on his way home from his office in South Delhi. After parking his Maruti Brezza by the roadside near the shop entrance, Kumar entered the store briefly but returned to his vehicle without making any purchases.

Initially, Kumar paid little attention to them and focused on opening his car door. However, in a sudden turn of events, one of the suspects struck him forcefully on the head with the helmet, leaving Kumar completely stunned and disoriented.
The assailants took advantage of Kumar’s vulnerable state and proceeded to assault him while attempting to snatch the keys from his possession. Despite their relentless efforts, they were unable to seize the keys. Realising their failure, one of the suspects drew a pistol and aimed it at Kumar’s head, coercing him to surrender the keys.
