The incident that took place in the Mon district’s village called Oting in Nagaland seems to affect the Naga peace talks. The anger of the civilians can be seen due to the killing.

The incident will require people from the center to begin with the process of action towards the responsible. For a long time center has been trying to solve the equation of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN), and was also successful in bringing down the opposed group on the negotiation table includes the groups led by Niki Sumi and Khango Konyak, they were once a part of the anti-talks unit of National Socialist Council of Nagaland, in which Niki Sumi also served as the commander and that is considered to influence in the districts of Nagaland which are bordering with Myanmar.

for some time some groups will create noises but the majority of the groups know what they want so they will try to negotiate and negotiation will be done. For many years, in the conflict zones, violence did not take place but still, it is not shocking.
