Sonu Sood is an actor from the Bollywood industry and has acted in several movies seems to be in trouble as Income Tax has its eagle eye on some locations which are linked to Sonu Sood.
On Wednesday, the Income Tax department has raided at least six places in Lucknow and Mumbai related to the actor Sonu Sood.
As per the sources, the department is surveying about the land deal which took place between Sonu Sood’s firm and a real estate company in Lucknow, which was followed by some complaints of tax evasion. The investigation began on Wednesday morning and continued till seven in the evening. Till now, no seizures have been made by the Income Tax Department in the case.
With this ongoing investigation, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi, extended his hand for support towards the actor and wrote, “In the path of honesty there occur millions of difficulties but at last truth always wins.” There are millions of people supporting Sonu Sood and will stand with him in the difficult times. Recently Sonu Sood was appointed as the Brand Ambassador of “Desh Ke Mentor”, a program by the Delhi Government designed with the aim to help the students with career options and choices. This raid came after the meeting with Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi.
It is also rumored that the actor is going to make his political debut in next year’s Punjab election as a candidate from Aam Aadmi Party, but Sonu Sood denied all the rumors, and also the BJP has denied that the raids were driven by anything related to politics and there is nothing related to the meeting with Arvind Kejriwal and said it is just a search process, not raid and it’s not mandatory that the actor has done anything wrong, Income Department works with their own protocol and they are just doing their work.
The actor Sonu Sood has been in the talks since the pandemic started, he has helped many people reaching their homes, and during the second wave, he tried his best to arrange for oxygen and even arranged trains, buses, and flights so that migrants could reach their home. Sonu Sood also runs a charitable foundation named Sood Charity Foundation.
