Khudawand Khan’s Tomb was created in memory of Khudawand Khan, the ancient governor of Surat. The tomb is a blatant brownish building found near Chakla Bazaar. He is reported to have done much for the city’s economy and established it as a business area, for which it is still known today. The mausoleum is lovely and worth exploring, with sparkling Islamic cartoons and fabulous architecture.

In reality, a tablet containing information about Khudawand Khan and his life has been set in the tomb site.
