Keanu Reeves is back with The Matrix Resurrections

John Wick star will be dominating the silver screen this winter with the fourth installment in The Matrix series, The Matrix Resurrections. The Matrix Resurrections has been the much-anticipated movie among Matrix fans since the release of its third part The Matrix Revolutions (2003).

The Matrix Revolutions, Keanu Reeves is reprising his role as the Neo/ Thomas Anderson, Carrie-Anne Moss as Tiffany/ Trinity, French actor Lamber Wilson will also return in his character as the villain, Merovingian, Jade Pinkett-Smith as Niobe, Swiss actor Daniel Bernhardt is returning in his role as Agent Johnson, first appeared in The Matrix Reloaded (2003).

The new cast members added are How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris who is presumed to be playing the therapist of Thomas Anderson, Quantico and Baywatch actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas who will be playing the grown-up Sati confirmed by the Warner Brothers Pictures, the Isn’t It Romantic star has just finished shooting her career’s most fervent work in Citadel, the new line-up of.

The Matrix Resurrections also has the Mexican actress Eréndira Ibarra playing the role Lexy, The Get Down breakout actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in the role of Morpheus, his filmography consists the likes of The Greatest Showman, Aquaman, Watchmen and Candyman, Jessica Henwick from MCUs’ Iron Fist is also in the movie as Bugs. It is conjectured that Tom Hardy is doing a cameo in the film. 

          
The first trailer of the movie was released on 9th September 2021 by Warner Bros., in the first trailer it shows Neo talking to a therapist and then he meets Trinity in a coffee shop where it seems they come face to face with each other but don’t know about each other and Neo is taking a blue pill every day when one day, he meets a man who offers him to take the red pill.

Following this trailer, The Matrix Resurrections makers released the characters’ posters on 22 November 2021, and the second official trailer of the film was released on 06th December 2021. It will be 2 hours and 28 minutes rollercoaster ride of suspense, thriller and some ferocious action. After 18 years, the matrix fans will be re-entering the world of memory and intelligence once again.

The official release of the Matrix Resurrections is 22nd December 2021. It will be released in cinemas and the HBO Max on the same date. It will be available on HBO Max for 31 days from the day of it’s release. Treat for the cinema-goers and OTT lovers!

The Matrix films of science-fiction genre illustrate the dystopian society where the human civilization or humanity is confined inside a reality called, ‘The Matrix’, this simulation is created by the machines with the help of Artificial Intelligence and this A.I. is built by the humans of the 21st Century and this A.I. enslaves the humankind.

The Baywatch star, Priyanka Chopra has some exciting projects after The Matrix Resurrections, she will be seen with Scottish actor Richard Madden in the tv series ‘Citadel’ produced by the Russo Brothers and Patrick Moran, it will be a spy thriller. She is also doing an American romantic comedy movie called ‘Text For You’ with co-actors Sam Heughan, Celine Dion and Lydia West. After that she has announced to be working on an untitled wedding comedy with Mindy Kaling. We can’t wait to see the Desi girl’s mind-blowing work in her upcoming projects.
