DISPLAY AND BUILD QUALITY
The Google Pixel 6 has a 90-hertz display with super AMOLED and HDR 10 support whereas the OnePlus 9 has a 120-hertz fluid AMOLED display with the same HDR 10 support. So no doubt both the displays are equally good and you can’t find any difference in 90 and 120-hertz displays.
Both Google Pixel 6 and OnePlus 9 have a flat display. Though the Google Pixel 6 has a glass-metal sandwich design whereas OnePlus 9 has a plastic frame which may be a deal-breaker for some.

OnePlus 9 has been released with android 11 with its oxygen OS which many of like because of fast and smooth animations and good software support.
But after the merger of OnePlus with OPPO oxygen OS a bit like color OS losing its originality. As of now, OnePlus has also promised 3 major updates and 4 years of security support.
It’s up to you to have a clean material u design with stock android and fast updates and smooth UI or you want to have a little bit more customization with fast and smooth UI.
GOOGLE PIXEL 6 OR ONEPLUS 9 WHICH ONE YOU SHOULD BUY?
Google Pixel 6 is the most value for money smartphone so was the OnePlus 9. Google Pixel 6 offers a new refresh design with great build quality and aesthetics. Google Pixel 6 has one of the most advanced camera setups in the android market with its great software processing and ISP.
OnePlus 9 has co-powered with Hasselblad to enhance their camera but as they hyped it didn’t deliver the quality that was promised but had a great camera overall. On the other hand, Google pixel 6 has great software because Google’s own android has great reliability with faster updates. And Google pixel 6 has also hardware security with the help of the titan m2 chip where the OnePlus 9 doesn’t have that level of security.
OnePlus 9 has a faster-charging speed with the charger in the box and has a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Processor. Whereas Google Pixel 6 has the latest tensor chip designed by Google and was told the most advanced chip but it has to prove itself. It doesn’t have a charger inside and has slow charging speeds too.
So it all depends upon users’ choice and requirements if they want clean android with great machine learning and excellent cameras that are backed up by google. If they want pretty decent software and excellent hardware with good cameras and excellent charging speeds so they can go for the OnePlus 9.
