Are you concerned about germs developing on your laptop? Acer is attempting to address the problem by covering more of its products with an antibacterial coating.
The antibacterial layer was first used in the Swift 5 laptop last year. The PC maker is now extending it to include two more computers, a tablet, a 24-inch display, and even a keyboard and mouse.
We’re not sure if the covering will protect your health. Acer’s procedure, on the other hand, focuses on silver ions, a proven antibacterial agent, and applying it to the most-used surfaces of the goods, like screen, keyboard, and trackpad.
Of course, it’s important to clean your gadgets in an orderly to keep germs and filth at bay. However, Acer’s antimicrobial coating will soon be available in the forthcoming TravelMate Spin P4.
The Spin P4 is a 360-degree hinged laptop convertible. It has a 14-inch 1080p display and includes touch-screen capabilities. Other features include a battery life of up to 13.5 hours, Wi-Fi 6, a Gigabit Ethernet connection, and numerous USB-C and Thunderbolt 4 interfaces.
Price of the Acer Vero lineup
The new Acer Aspire Vero costs $699.99 (about Rs. 52,700) and is now available in North America. According to a press statement from Acer, the laptop will be available in the EMEA and Chinese markets beginning in October. The Acer TravelMate Vero will be available in North America beginning in January 2022 for $899.99 (about Rs. 67,800), and in the EMEA market in the first quarter of 2022. The Acer Vero BR277 monitor will be available in EMEA, North America, and China in March 2022 for $299. (roughly Rs. 22,500).
Beginning in February 2022, the Acer Macaron Vero Mouse, Acer Vero Mousepad, and Acer Vero Ecosleeve will be available in EMEA for EUR 24.90 (about Rs. 2,200), EUR 19.90 (approximately Rs. 1,700), and EUR 24.90, correspondingly. The Acer Veriton Vero Mini desktop’s pricing has not been announced.

The Acer Aspire Vero has a 16:9 aspect ratio full-HD IPS display with a max brightness of 250 nits and an anti-glare screen. It is powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1195G7 CPU, up to 16GB of Dual-Channel DDR4 RAM, with Intel Xe or Intel UHD graphics. For onboard storage, the Acer laptop features up to 1TB of PCIe NVMe SSD. On a single charge, it may last up to 9.5 hours.
The Acer Aspire Vero has dual-band Wi-Fi 6 with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/axe, Bluetooth v5.1, 2×2 MU-MIMO, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an ethernet connector, an HDMI port, a USB Type-C port, and including three USB Type-A ports for connectivity. The laptop’s audio choices also involve Acer Purified Voice with AI noise reduction, Acer TrueHarmony audio, two stereo speakers, and two integrated microphones. It is 363.4×238.4×17.9mm in size and weighs 1.8 kg.
Specifications for the Acer TravelMate Vero
The Acer TravelMate Vero features a full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixel) IPS display with Acer ComfyView technology. It is powered by an 11th Generation Intel Core i7-1195G7 CPU, up to 16GB DDR4 SDRAM, with Intel Iris Xe graphics. It has up to 1TB of Gen 3 PCIe NVMe SSD storage.
Wi-Fi 6, three USB Type-A ports, a USB Type-C connector, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an ethernet port are amidst the connectivity choices. Acer Purified Voice with AI noise reduction and Acer TrueHarmony are two audio options for the Acer TravelMate Vero. It is 363.4×238.5×17.9mm in size and weighs 1.8 kg.
Specifications for the Acer Veriton Vero Mini
The Intel Core vPro CPUs power the Acer Veriton Vero Mini, which is coupled with up to 64GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM. Intel Integrated graphics are used in conjunction with the CPUs. The desktop can accommodate up to 2TB of HDD or 1TB of M.2 PCIe SSD. Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, two USB Type-A ports, a USB Type-C connector, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the connectivity choices. It has proportions of 186x186x36mm and weighs 1.3 kilos.
Specifications for the Acer Vero BR277 display
The 27-inch full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixel) IPS display of the Acer Vero BR277 features a refresh rate of 75Hz. It has a reaction time of 4ms and a vertical and horizontal viewing angle of 178 degrees. It features a 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio and a 72 per cent NTSC colour gamut coverage with 16 million colours. It includes a 100x100mm VESA wall mount along with two 2W speakers.
Specifications for the Acer Macaron Vero mouse
Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Chrome OS are all supported with the Acer Macaron Vero mouse. It has a 2.4GHz wireless connection that allows it to connect to a computer. It has proportions of 103×60.06×27.73mm and weighs 48 grammes.
Acer has also built the device to withstand the elements. As a result, it’s been housed in a unique shell that can protect it from dust particles, water, and 4-foot fall to the ground.
The $299 device has a 10-inch 1,920-by-1,200-pixel screen and an eight-core MediaTek MT8385 CPU.” A front 5MP wide-angle camera sits above the screen,” the company says, “while the inclusion of a microphone with AI noise reduction and dual-band Wi-Fi makes the Enduro Urban T3 great for video calls and online learning.”
Acer claims that the tablet can provide up to eight hours of the movie playing on a single charge. The product will be released in the first quarter of the next year. The antimicrobial coating was also coated to the Acer VE246Q, a 23.6-inch monitor.
