Glass Bottom Boat Ride

Sea Plane

We almost see these seaplane rides in the Maldives but, you can enjoy the ride being in Andaman and Nicobar Island. It is a completely new experience and one of the most exclusive things to do in Port Blair.

You can travel in a seaplane from Port Blair to Havelock Island, or you can also choose the return transport from Havelock Island to Port Blair. The plane carries nine people at a time and takes 15 minutes to reach the destination.

If you choose the ferry option, it takes 2 hours to cover the same distance, but by opting the seaplane travel, you can enjoy the aerial views, and even you can gift this ride to anyone. It costs around Rs 2,000 per person for one-way travel.

Light and Sound Show

Andaman and Nicobar Island has a very important place related to the history of India, and that is the cellular jail, which was used by the Britishers to give the Kala Paani Jail to the freedom fighters during the struggle for freedom but, now it has a light, and sound show and that works as the highlight which tells the stories of the freedom fighters who were prisoned in the jail to death.

You can experience the show from Tuesday to Saturday, and different show timings have been allotted. The entry fees cost Rs 10 but if you want to take the camera and video camera you have to pay some additional charge. The duration of the show is around 1 to 2 hours.

Limestone Caves

Mostly in movies, we see the scenes or music videos they shoot between the limestone caves but, you have the opportunity to experience the natural structure of limestone caves and their beauty.

Along with exploring limestone caves, you can enjoy a speed boat ride with mangrove trees on both sides.

The caves are located in Baratang, and you can travel there by bus and ferry.
