Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s son who was detained during narcotics search on a cruise ship over the weekend, received an emotional message from actor Hrithik Roshan today asking him to “own whatever you experience.”
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained Aryan Khan, 23, and seven others on Monday.
A hearing for Aryan Khan and others who were apprehended by NCB sleuths during a rave party in a narcotics raid on a cruise liner took place yesterday. Aryan and others have been remanded in judicial detention for 14 days. Before the announcement of this decision, and following Aryan’s arrest, several Bollywood celebs have come out in favour of the star child, visiting or giving support in any way they can to Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, and his family members.

Kangana Ranaut has added her voice to the debate after Hrithik Roshan sent an open letter in support of Aryan Khan on Thursday. Aryan, Shah Rukh Khan’s son, was apprehended on Sunday when the Narcotics Control Bureau raided an alleged rave party on a Goa-bound cruise ship.
Kangana added in an Instagram Stories message that Aryan’s “mistakes” should help him grow but should not be tolerated. “Now entire Mafia Pappu is defending Aaryan Khan… We make errors, but we must not glorify them… I’m hoping that this would help him see the bigger picture and make him consider the repercussions of his behaviour… It’s hoped that it would help him mature and grow larger and better.

Kangana has previously spoken about her struggles with drug addiction when she was just starting in Bollywood. “As soon as I ran away from my house, I became a film star and a drug addict in a matter of years.” So much was going on in my life that I ended up in the hands of such individuals, and all of this happened while I was still a youngster. “Imagine how deadly I am,” she claimed in a March 2020 video.
Aryan was denied bail and ordered held in prison until Thursday by a Mumbai court on Monday, even though his counsel claimed in court that he was a special invitee to the cruise liner and thus “cannot be pulled in with the entire seizure in the case.”
The NCB apprehended Aryan Khan when officers in disguise disrupted a rave party on the Cordelia Cruise ship on its route to Goa.
According to the anti-drug bureau, the raids yielded 13 grammes of cocaine, 21 grammes of charas, 22 tablets of MDMA, and 5 grammes of MD. Aryan Khan was determined to be drug-free, but his WhatsApp discussions were deemed to be damning, according to the anti-drugs office.

Vikas Singh, the lawyer for late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has finally responded to Aryan’s continuing case. He told NDTV that the whole Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act is focused on rehabilitation (of narcotic drugs psychotropic substances). He went on to say that if there is no recovery, there is no offence, and that is how the statute is written.
Meanwhile, sources indicate that Aryan is likely to be released from the magistrate court today, even though no commercial number of narcotics was found from him. Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, who are co-accused, face the same fate.
On October 7, the NCB requested an extension of detention for Shah Rukh Khan’s kid and seven other people charged in the case. A Mumbai judge, however, declined to allow the agency an extension, stating that “custody cannot be granted on speculative grounds.”
