Recently, Britney Spears, the celebrated pop star, has shared the spotlight as she finally gained freedom from the idea of conservatorship after struggling for thirteen years. The judge in Los Angeles approved her appeal for the termination after her father had filed about it to the court to bring it to an end. However, the court has provided some terms and conditions that she must abide Britney Spears tasted the sweet joy of victory after a decade.

However, Federline received custody of their children. However, Spears did not agree to hand over the control of the children to their father. This caused a lot of disputes, and the police were called. Britney Spears was taken under the ‘5150’ psychiatric hold and taken to the hospital. 

Due to her persisting mental health issues, Jamie Spears receives the temporary conservatorship of her and is responsible for taking care of her finances and life. Later, lawyer Andrew Wallet was the co-conservator of the estate. Later, Britney Spears received visitation rights to meet her children.

Her conservatorship was later extended to an indefinite period by a judge. Later, Spears’ lawyer represented her and stated to the court that Britney does not want her father to return to his position as a conservator after he temporarily stood down from his work. On subsequent hearing, the judge appointed Bessemer Trust as the co-conservator. However, he extended her conservatorship for the year 2021. 

In June 2021, the superstar directly talked with the judge and stated that the idea of conservatorship was abusive and unfair as it prevented her from getting married or having her children. The idea of her calling out the judge for the conservatorship gained the support of many famous stars synch as Mariah Carey, Halsey and Khloe Kardashian, sharing their opinion and backing up the singer. Her statements have created spurge in the courtroom that resulted in the quitting of the financial management team that worked with her father. Her long-time manager stepped down from his position, and her court-appointed lawyer also left.  

Britney Spears consequently approached the court and stated her emotional opinions and felt that her father should be charged for conservator abuse. Mathew S Rosengart was appointed as her new lawyer, who assured her that he would take aggressive measures to end the sponsorship.

 To win the case in their favour, Rosengart accuses her father of extortion of large payments to step down from his position of a conservator. He further arranged a hearing in the court where he questioned Jamie Spear’s intentions and assured the judge that Britney Spears is capable of looking after herself. 

Finally, on November 12, 2021, a judge decided to call the end of the conservatorship agreement. Brenda J. Penny took over the case and sat on the hearing for a span of thirty minutes before announcing her final verdict. She added some terms and conditions stating that a temporary accountant would work as a co-conservator. Finally, Britney Spears received the responsibility of her 60 million dollars worth of the estate.

Britney Spears has condemned her parents for their behaviour during the period of conservatorship. She has summed about them, stating that they were abusive during that period. She even mentioned that her church-going mother Lynn was responsible for introducing the idea of conservatorship in the first place. She has even refused to see her mother for several weeks. 

Britney has revealed to the public how she is happy about the little things in her life. Owning an ATM card, the keys to her car, and cash and being able to be independent made her rejoice in the idea of freedom. 

During the period of conservatorship, she was provided with a monthly allowance of 2000 dollars. She could not enjoy her hard-earned fortune even if she were performing in sold-out areas of the world. She was also not allowed to drive her own car until recently; she gained freedom from her conservatorship. Moreover, she has also expressed her gratitude towards her fans, who were mainly responsible for the #Freebritney movement that caught the media’s attention. Indeed, her life was saved by her fans.

Britney Spears has an avid presence on her social media. She has expressed her interest in having another child after the termination of conservatorship recently. Britney is already a mother to her two children from her previous marriage. She also mentioned that she wanted to have a girl this time; her fiancee made fun of her and stated hope their daughter gets great calves that are not coming from him. 

Britney has also revealed her conservatorship battle during the thirteen years in a video posted on her social media handle. Through her video, she has also hinted at the fact that she may be appearing as a guest on Oprah.

After her being in the limelight for victory in the thirteen-year-long battle, many producers have expressed their interest in collaborating with her. Sean Garnett has shown his willingness to cooperate with Britney Spears. The duo has previously worked together on many songs in the year 2000. However, he is in a dilemma because Britney may not be mentally prepared as she has just gained freedom.
