Messi said that he thought winning the trophy in the year 2019 was the last one for him, but Copa America came as a key for this year. Meanwhile, Alexa Putellas won the women’s Ballon d’Or, and this is the third time for her to win the award, and Kopa trophy for best player U- 21 was awarded to Pedri, who is 19 years old from Barcelona.

During the CSK felicitation, Dhoni told, that he would play his last T20 match in Chennai as he has always planned his cricket play and his last ODI was played in Ranchi, and now, he hopes that he will play his last T20 in Chennai, no matter when next year or even after five years.

Apart from that, Ravindra Jadeja’s all-rounder skill has impressed everyone, and that will not make him get dropped by the franchise or the country. In the last season of IPL, he scored 227 runs and took thirteen wickets. He is one of the fittest players in the country.

On Monday, Cristiano Ronaldo used his Instagram and lashed out at Ballon d’Or chief for his fake statement which claimed that in conversation with him the Portuguese player had said that he wishes to retire with more Ballon d’Or awards than the Argentine star player Lionel Messi.

In this statement, Ronaldo said that Pascal Ferre lied to everyone and used his name to promote the publication where he works and added that it is unacceptable that, a person who is responsible for the prestigious award, lied to everyone and is disrespectful to those who have always respected the Ballon d’Or award and France Football.

Ronaldo added that he is not against anyone and respects every player, he always wants to congratulate the player who wins, and that is called sportsmanship which he follows since the beginning of his career.

He told that his biggest ambition is to become a good example for others who want to be footballers and also to leave his name written in the golden letters in the history of football. Cristiano Ronaldo has won five Ballon d’Or awards and Messi won his seventh Ballon d’Or this year.
